Malone Agronomy Plant Update

Country Visions Agronomy in Malone put on the addition of the fertilizer plant, tower, and office in 2008. The fertilizer plant has a capacity of around 4,650 tons, with the tower holding another 120 tons. Besides the 12 spreaders and 2 custom dry applicators, we have 3 liquid sprayer and trucks to handle all our herbicide needs. We don't carry a lot of liquid fertilizer here, so we rely on our other locations (Fond du Lac, Chilton, and Plymouth) to deliver the bulk loads. For this upcoming season, please call our location and we will set up your delivery. Our staff in Malone includes our administrator, Nutrient Management Planners, Agronomist, Lifestyle Feed Specialists, and Custom Applicators. This year our location had a good season of corn, soybeans, wheat and alfalfa yields. Tar spot was noticeable in a few corn fields, but yields were good. Soybeans dried down very well, but stems stayed green making harvest a bit slow. Yields were above average even with a lot of volunteer beans. Winter Wheat made it through winter very well with some yields topping 120 bu/ac. Fungicide application of wheat gave us an extra 8-10 bu/ac. With this upcoming season, please give us ample time to make your deliveries and custom work.
Thank you,
Malone Agronomy Staff.
