September Statement Advertising Insert
One of the benefits of doing business with a Cooperative is the profits are paid back to the members. Profits are paid back in two ways, cash patronage and equity retirements. The equity portion is used to fund the Co-op. After a period of years and as the finances of the Co-op allow, this money is returned to the members. Last month, Country Visions mailed over $4.1 million in equity retirement checks to members. The Board of Directors of Country Visions are committed to continued revolvement of equities on a timely basis. This year’s total included equity earned at Country Visions in 2015 as well as profits generated at CP Feeds in that same year and equity from the former Kettle Lakes Co-op for 2012. Customers who have provided us with their birthdate and reached age 70, also received their equity share with the revolvement.

2383 is just another number to the average person, but to Derek Sippel of St. Cloud, Wisconsin the number 2383 is a personal milestone. The number 2383 is the official weight of a gigantic pumpkin that he nurtured this year on his farm.
