Local Farmers Unite to Help Another
Seven combines, three carts, three trucks, ten wagons, 17 farmers came together to help out a friend. In the midst of harvest, a local Cedar Grove farmer came down with Covid and was unable to harvest his crop. Word got out and local farmers stepped up to help out. One of the benefits of doing business with a Cooperative is the profits are paid back to the members. Profits are paid back in two ways, cash patronage and equity retirements. The equity portion is used to fund the Co-op. After a period of years and as the finances of the Co-op allow, this money is returned to the members. Last month, Country Visions mailed over $4.1 million in equity retirement checks to members. The Board of Directors of Country Visions are committed to continued revolvement of equities on a timely basis.
