The Board of Directors for Country Visions Cooperative decided to formally cancel the 2021 Annual Meeting for this January with the hopes of continuing the tradition of in-person meetings in the future. They felt it would not be in everyone’s best interest to get together and conduct a meeting at this time. In lieu of the Annual Meeting, the information normally presented was video recorded and is available on the Country Visions Cooperative website.
Director Elections were held via a mail-in ballot sent to the voting members of Country Visions. The ballots were counted and an announcement of the results was recorded as part of the Annual Meeting video presentation. Nick Van Gheem from District 1, retired from the board after 25 years of service. Jeremy Zirbel was elected to that district 1 position. Jeremy’s dairy farm, DenMar Acres, is in the Town of Glenmore, just north of Morrison. He’s also a partner in Zirbel Heritage Farms. Joe Holschbach from Manitowoc was re-elected to his District 2 position. In district 4, incumbent Greg Rickert from Eldorado was elected.
