COVID-19 Business Update for Country Visions
COVID-19 Response as of 03/20/2020-
At Country Visions Cooperative our priority is the continued health and safety of our employees, their families, our customers and communities.  In today’s quickly changing environment regarding the coronavirus outbreak, we need to stay diligent in our efforts to prevent the spread of the disease.  To accomplish this, we feel taking a proactive approach along with following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is an appropriate tactic.
We are being impacted by extraordinary situations that most of us have never experienced. All efforts at this time need to be focused on lessening the spread and effect of this public health threat.  We will put into action new temporary and precautionary procedures with guidelines to keep everyone safe while continuing to maintain business and allow us to serve our members and customers.  These measures are subject to change in response to any actions that need to be implemented as this situation continues to evolve.
We are asking all customers to please limit any non-essential visits to our facilities.  If we can assist you over the phone, email or through the mail, please let us do that. When onsite operations need to reduce access to their facility, a sign will be posted with phone numbers for who you can call for assistance or to answer questions.
Our retail locations are still open, but have made many changes in the function of their operations. We are following the strict standards mandated by the State of Wisconsin, County Government orders and our franchise partnerships.
Social distancing will help keep you, your family, and our community from increased risk of exposure. Anyone who needs to physically be present at our facilities are instructed to follow Standard Operating Procedures, including:
  • If experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, have visited an area with high rates of disease transmission within the past 14 days, or have been in contact with anyone within the last 14 days who has tested positive for COVID-19, you are asked to self-isolate, do not enter our facilities and avoid face-to-face contact with Country Visions staff.
  • Wash or sanitize hands prior to entering our facilities; maintain social-distancing guidelines of six feet of separation from others if practicable.

For more information, federal, state, and local government agencies are the best source of information in the event of an infectious disease outbreak, such as COVID-19. Staying informed about the latest developments and recommendations is critical, since specific guidance may change based upon evolving outbreak situations. Below are several recommended websites to access the most current and accurate information:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration website: www.osha.gov
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website: www.cdc.gov
National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health website: www.cdc.gov/niosh
This situation is fluid and we will continue to monitor and implement changes to help our people stay safe.
Sincerely,
Steve Zutz
President/CEO
