With the spring planting season going at high speed this week for farmers in Northeastern Wisconsin, it was fantastic to present this large check to a local farmer. Darrell Hylok was able to ensure that his equipment was repaired and ready to go for the season and didn’t have to worry that the large repair bill would compromise his profitability. Darrell is a firm believer in the Cenex Total Protection Plan offered through his local Country Visions Cooperative representative. The plan utilizes LubeScan®  technology to have analysis reports created from used oil collected during general maintenance. The analysis can identify equipment concerns, which was the case for the Hylok’s equipment. Following the repair, a check in the amount of $82,642.20 was issued to them to cover eligible repairs on their New Holland T9 450.

One of the benefits of doing business with a Cooperative is the profits are paid back to the members. Profits are paid back in two ways, cash patronage and equity retirements. The equity portion is used to fund the Co-op. After a period of years and as the finances of the Co-op allow, this money is returned to the members. Last month, Country Visions mailed over $4.1 million in equity retirement checks to members. The Board of Directors of Country Visions are committed to continued revolvement of equities on a timely basis.
