Winter/Spring/Winter - How to keep your Animals Healthy this Season



With Mother Nature on the see-saw of should it be winter or spring, here are a few tips for keeping your animals’ healthy.
              1.  Always make sure that your animals’ vitamin/mineral levels are meeting requirements for a healthy immune system.
              2.  Always have a clean and readily available water source.
              3.  Keep your animals’ area as clean as is possible with plenty of bedding to keep them from getting wet and to keep them warm.
              4.  Pay attention to the quality of forage that you are feeding your animals.  You may need to supplement if it is not meeting their requirements.
              5.  Consult with your veterinarian when an animal gets sick.
