Loren and Ethan Ulness

Loren and Ethan Ulness are a father and son team operating Hi-Tower Farms in Valders, WI along with their wives, Carol and Jessica. 

Ethan is the 4th generation to be involved in the Dairy and Crop Farm that Loren refers to as a “family tradition”. Loren’s grandma was able to keep the farm running as a widow with a 3-year-old, a 2-year-old and another child on the way, until her son was old enough to take it over.  
Agriculture is important to their family and they both agree that they enjoy it, especially when they get to work out in the fields. When they get a break, you might see Ethan getting in a round of golf and Loren likes anything sport related.

The improvements in technology and the attention being focused on educating consumers about where their food comes from, keep them excited about the future of agriculture.
