Meet Our Leadership!
The Board of Director’s mission is to provide strategic direction and promote the cooperative’s long-term growth and financial stability. We utilize voting by mail for director positions with the final counting and election results announced at the Cooperative’s Annual Meeting. New directors are nominated and elected from the membership to serve for three-year terms. Terms are staggered to provide continuity on the Board. These directors represent the members of Country Visions Cooperative.
Brad Jaeger is the Vice President of Grain for Country Visions Cooperative and the Grain Merchandiser at the Chilton and Kiel location. Brad has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In May 2016 Brad started working at Country Visions Cooperative and his favorite part of the job is helping producers put together a marketing strategy that best suits their needs and then seeing that yield a positive outcome. Brad’s interest in agriculture sparked from growing up helping on his grandparents’ dairy farm, and now is continuing to help his parents raise heifers and cash crop. He knew since he was a kid that he wanted to be engaged in agriculture in some way. Then while in college, during his second summer internship, he discovered that grain merchandising was his niche in order to have off-farm job while still being in the industry.
Brain studied and graduated from UW-River Falls with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness, and started working for CVC in 1989. His favorite part of his job is helping growers figure out how to do things better and being challenged on how crops grow. Brian’s interest in agriculture sparked from walking his uncle and the Pioneer agronomist out in their corn fields when he was in high school. He was amazed at what the agronomist was telling him about how the crop was developing and what was going wrong.
