Schwarz Farms LLC

Aug 25, 2017

Chilton, Wisconsin is home to John Schwarz and his sons, Trevor and Connor. This is also where you will find Schwarz Farms, LLC, which is the farm John operates along with Jim Schwarz. This second-generation farming operation includes Crops and Custom Heifers.

John didn't set out to take over the family farm when he graduated high school. He initially went to college, but realized after a year that is wasn't for him. "Now," John said, "it has kind of become my life." Farming allows him to be his own boss. He enjoys raising cattle and growing crops. "I take pride in producing quality products," he said.

Connecting with his community is something that John does through his involvement in several organizations. He is in the Knights of Columbus, the Chilton Optimist Club and he is the Town Chairman of Chilton. An opportunity to extend that feeling of community became available to John two years ago. He went on a two-week mission trip to Haiti.

Thank you to John for being a part of our Farmer Friday message. We wish the best to you, your family and to the future for Schwarz Farms, LLC.

Farmer #34. To show our appreciation to our producer members, Country Visions Cooperative will be giving a snapshot look of our customers and their operations in this feature each Friday
