Kaylee, Dylan and Amber Anhalt are preparing to participate in the Calumet County Fair this year with their show projects. Support, friendship and a connection developed between these siblings when a couple years ago Kaylee helped one of her friends at the fair with their goat project.
Meet Ellie Karls and her mini lop, Star, of Fond du Lac County! Ellie is a member of the Green Valley 4-H and Oakfield FFA. She has spent 8 years showing rabbits and 3 years showing poultry. In the most recent years, Ellie has shown through Oakfield FFA.
In Brandon, WI, Josh Hiemstra is continuing a family tradition of farming. “It is the foundation of life, it’s the food production and what this country is built off of,” Josh said. It has been 3 generations of the family building up Hiemstra Dairy, LLC in this Fond du Lac County community.
